Quick background about me: I was born in Fiji but now residing in New Zealand working as a computer consultant. A third generation “Fiji Indian” as we are normally called.
My grandfather was brought by the British from India to Fiji in the late 1800s to work in the sugarcane farms. Around 1976, vibhuti started to appear in Sai Baba photos in my paternal aunt’s house. Imagine this, a small island in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean and vibhuti appearing on every Swami photo in that small house.
Also Amrit use to appear in the glass of water usually placed on the altar for Swami during Shivarathri. Bhajans.
Many miracles happened in that place, Baba even christen the place Prema Niliyam. I am 46 years old now and this all started when I was a young boy so basically all my life I have known Sai Baba. Visited Swami over dozen times in Puttaparthi and what a destruction process of the ego that has been…..
I was there during Christmas (2008) as part of NZ choir and heard you speak during the celebrations in front of Swami too. Anyway more about me later.
A few months ago, I went home to celebrate Swami’s birthday and captured on video some of my Uncle’s and Aunty’s experiences, how they came to Swami in the late 1960s etc. Will share that with you soon.
