Sai Ram: My name is Sam Moorjani (Originally from India). I have been in the USA since 1972. After coming to sathya-saiUSA as a student I completed my graduate work and returned to India to get married. When I was residing in India I never heard of Sai Baba. The first time this name came to my mind at the time of my engagement with Kiran (her parents were followers of Sai Baba). My marriage took place in 1979.

Even though my wife was the follower of Sathya Sai Baba I never took any interest in any activities but I did take her for Bhajans by driving for 30 miles. There was no personal experience of Sai Baba that attracted me to his mission till I went to White Field in 1994.

I wanted to test Baba if he was for real. Most of the people make every efforts to give him the letters. I said to myself, " Baba I am not going to give the letter to by extending my arm to you, if you are for real then you come to me and take the letter from my hand". I held the letter very tight and kept near my heart.

Baba, came and stood in front of me and the tears start to roll from my eyes. I was planning to do so many things if he comes near me...(i:e I will touch his feet). He bent down and trying to take letter from my hand. The letter was so tight that we start to do some sort of tug of war. Finally I let it go. I was told, Baba was in front of me for at least more than a minute or two. Then he made a move and start to walk away from me. As he start to walk, I got in to the reality and quickly touched his feet. His feet was so warm/hot (felt like 120 degrees temperature) and his skin felt like new born baby skin.  The softness of his skin remained in my hands for more than 30 minutes. Since this experience my faith start to built. A few months later we had a official center at our place and I held the position of President and Vice-present. Today I am in a wheel chair. Baba saved my life in 1999 where I was not expected to live.

Every one has to have their own personal experience before the faith can be built.
