Sathya Sai Baba - Love Eternal And Unconditional By: Mary-Ann Terpstra

Sai Ram. My name is Mary-Ann Terpstra.

I live in Dundas, Ontario. I have always been a truth seeker, and have been searching for enlightenment all my life. When I had read Autobiography of a Yogi by Yogananda, my mind was opened to the eastern religions and I took his lessons. When it came time to declare him as my guru, I couldn't do it. I knew he was not.

So then I had a dream that I was in space, outside of my spaceship, twirling it around and asking the question "What's next?" At that time I was part of the Unity, School of Christianity Church in Hamilton Ontario. The minister one morning was talking about miracles. Just before she mentioned Swami (and not even by name) my whole person stood still and listened at the moment she started talking about Him. She said "there is a man in India who has done all the miracles that Jesus has done and some say He is the Christ."

Well, I was thrilled. I went up to her after the service and said "WHAT IS HIS NAME?" -so empatically, because you see He arrested me inside. She said "His name is Sai Baba. His books are in the bookstore."

So I went into the bookstore and here He was looking straight at me on this book. I thought "Now there's an unusual looking fellow." That was the very first thought I ever had when I met my husband too. So I deliberated and deliberated and finally bought a book and the very first chapter someone was describing being in an interview with Him and how it felt. He said that " time stood still. it was absolute peace, and there was so much love pouring out from him, that you knew instantly that He loved you just for who you are, totally unconditionally and it was eternal." I found it.

This was what I was looking for. And He was walking the earth! A short time later, I realized that He was the Absolute and that I didn't need to go anywhere else because He would take me all the way home. And He is.

Sai Ram.
