About two months ago , I went to the Bank with the money I had collected from the sale of my book "Dream Darshan " For reasons best known to Swami , the Vice President of the Bank invited me to her desk and waited on me.[ Usually one goes directly to a Teller in order to request a Cashiers Check ]
I willingly sat across from the Vice President's desk and made my request for a Cashiers Check in the amount of $75 . She counted the bills ,called a Teller to her desk and instructed her to carry out this request . The Teller returned in a short while with the query " Did you want a Cashiers Check for $ 150 ? " to which the VP told her " No it is for $ 75 .
The Teller left but returned with a puzzled look on her face and said "But you gave me $150 " Now it was the VP's turn to be puzzled . She turned to me questioningly and said " Did you give me $150 ? " .I assured her I had not and added that she had verified my request for a $75 CC by counting the money prior to handing it to the Teller. The Teller was told again that the CC was for $75 and so she obediently left with the money.
The VP continued to be puzzled and remarked " It [the money ] GREW !........things like that don't happen around here !.....I could not help responding with a twinkle " Where this Check is going to ?..... things like this happen ALL the time .! This remark led to a " Calling Card " type talk about our Beloved Lord . I happened to have a copy of my book to mail to the Ashram and I showed her Swami's picture which was on the cover. She looked at the back cover of the book as well with a measure of awe and thanked me animatedly for sharing " this wonderful story " She held my hand after our customary good bye gesture and said " I am so glad to have met you "
I gave her another "Swami twinkle " and said " It was meant to be " The purpose of this LEELA by Sai Krishn ?........ Many reasons come to my mind . The most vibrant point for me is I LOVED BEING A PART OF HIS GAME. ......the reasons are Swami's business ,I don't need to know . At the end of the day , did the Teller balance when she closed ? Don't know that either ........... Swami must have taken care of it .
Lovingly and playfully .....IN HIS HEART
